DR. Richard Gangnes
MD | Founder & Director | Facial Aesthetic Concepts Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Gangnes specializes exclusively in facial cosmetic surgery and has over 30 years of experience in this dynamic, evolving area of medical art and science.His passion for facial cosmetic surgery began with his graduation from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, ranked in the top 3 in the nation the last 5 years by U.S. News.
While continuing his teaching activities at UCI, he began a private practice in the city of San Clemente in 1980. With a move to the present day office location including the development of an accredited ambulatory surgical facility, he established Facial Aesthetic Concepts, focusing on facial rejuvenation, in 1991.
With an increasing significance of the non-surgical aesthetic arts, including laser medicine and surgery and dermatologic skin care, he has been able to develop a comprehensive approach to the art and science of facial aesthetics by incorporating these disciplines into Facial Aesthetic Concepts. He believes a rested, natural, engaging, and vibrant appearance is always the primary goal of aesthetic medicine, using the least invasive procedures to achieve the greatest results.
DR. Bryan Brandon
MD | Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Bryan Brandon was born in Atlanta, Georgia but grew up in Northern California graduating valedictorian of his high school class. As an undergraduate at the California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, he studied biomedical engineering and graduated cum laude. He continued his medical education at UC Irvine School of Medicine, and subsequently completed a rigorous Head and Neck Surgery residency at University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. During his final year of surgical training, Dr. Brandon was honored with the Harold C. Pillsbury leadership award, for recognition as the most outstanding chief resident.
Dr. Brandon’s passion for helping patients look and feel their best is what initially drove him to the field of Facial Plastic Surgery. His artistic eye provides his patients a natural and refreshed appearance. Dr. Brandon always strives to provide a comfortable and collaborative experience for every individual patient, combining personal attentive care with flawless results. His meticulous approach to plastic surgery delivers his patients a natural and balanced result, while achieving each individual’s unique aesthetic goals.
DR. Maryam Zamani
MD | Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Zamani is a double-board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in breast & body contouring. She has performed hundreds of surgical procedures & is joining FAC from her practice in Toronto.
Dr. Zamani is dedicated to delivering advanced, effective, & safe care to her patients. Her extensive training has led her across Canada and the United States.
As a female surgeon, Dr. Zamani is uniquely positioned within the field of plastic surgery where most patients are female. She offers an authentic understanding of the female body, including what pregnancy and breastfeeding do to women and how the body evolves over time, from motherhood to menopause. Our surgeons work both independently & collaboratively to create a tailor-made solution for every patient. This combined expertise gives patients a superior experience before, during and after surgery.
